This was a portrait study that I was very happy with. I tried to exaggerate and emphases certain features like the eyes to create this eerie and powerful character portrait. A friend of my said it looked like a realistic Pixar character. I think it looks like the mom in the movie Coraline!
 
I called the piece a quiet resolve as to me it looks like this woman is staying strong even in severely challenging times.
